Dr Darren McKeown graduated from the University of Glasgow. He spent his early post-graduate career working in general surgery in Glasgow before moving to London to begin his specialist training in plastic surgery. Dr McKeown has undertaken three years of specialist training in plastic surgery at some of the top plastic surgery units in the London area. He also has a range of academic distinctions having published a variety of papers in prestigious medical journals whilst his work has been presented at national and international conferences.

Because of his enthusiasm and talent for non-surgical procedures Dr McKeown is often quoted in the media. His opinions have been featured in Daily Mail, Scotland on Sunday, The Scotsman, Daily Record and Marie-Claire.co.uk to name but a few. He also features on Clyde 1 radio from time to time talking about the latest issues in the field of aesthetic medicine.
